Goodwill DIY Project 11: Custom Candy Cauldron

Goodwill has shelves full of bowls, baskets, boxes, containers, and pots like this one that can be turned into custom candy holders for Halloween. I kept it simple with a pot and the message: Trick or Treat. But go on and get creative with your bad self. Maybe "Boogers & Bones" or "Take at Your Own Risk." What other ideas you got?

Go to Goodwill Akrong blog for the step-by-step instructions on how to create a stencil for your spooky message.

Mid-Century Modern Loveseat Finds a Home

Remember when I picked up this mid-century modern loveseat from my neighbor's trash?

Well, I gave it to the amazing Stephanie Sheldon (Cleveland Flea BOSS) to use as furniture for her next brainchild, the Indie Foundry Creative Clubhouse.

Here it is lookin' all simple and mod in this Cleveland Flea photoshoot shot by Suzuran Photography.

I JUST finished a new sidetable for our living room (more on that later) and this typewriter was the cherry on top!  Check out Goodwill Akron blog to read more...
