People weren't really interested in buying blankets on a SEVENTY-FIVE degrees day. Noted.
However, they were thankfully interested in shutters, card catalogs, marquee letters, lanterns, frames, watering cans, old wire baskets, moccasins, and old metal cabinets...
...and turquoise earrings! Talk about HOT!
Despite the lack of blanket buyers, my first attempt at selling clothes (sweaters, plaid shirts and vintage tees) went pretty well!
And I was soooo excited that the vintage Mirro kitchen timer went to this guy... it coudn't have found a better home!
My dad did a lot of buying...from the food vendors! Banana frittata, beer, ice cream, pierogies, danish... I think he sampled them all! It's very clear who I get my eating habits from.
And this guy! He buzzed around all day then came and worked my booth at the end of the day so I could walk around real quick. I feel so confident when I leave the booth and hear him announcing "Husband Special here! Make an offer...any offer...it's yours!!"
That's a wrap for October. Thanks to all friends and family that made it out!! I'll be at the November Cleveland Flea on November 23rd and 24th. More details coming soon!
