Twinsie Tuesday: Joe Who?

It's rare that I would choose a professional athlete as someone's doppleganger, unless it's someone in the sports world who everyone knows, ya know like Tiger Woods, or Lebron James. I'm not much of a sports-watcher. Back in college my roommates and I would go to the Ohio State football games and would spend our time people-watching in the stands and taking pictures of each other. Nowadays if we gather at someone's house for a big event like the Super Bowl, I'm more focused on the buffalo chicken dip and oreo cheesecake.

This most recent super bowl was no exception. I thought I "watched" the game, but when D came home from the gym the next day and said that someone told him he looked like Joe Flacco, I said "Joe Who? Never heard of him."

For anyone else who spends their time like me focused on the crowd or the food, Joe Flacco is the quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, the winners of the Super Bowl a few weeks ago. The one where I ate the really good kielbasa and sauerkraut...

So what do you think, was the person at the gym right? Does he look like Joe Flacco?

Life as a Thrifter

Do you have favorite pins on your Pinterest boards? The ones that completely inspire you and make you want to bust out the hammer or paint brush as soon as the kids take a nap. Or make you want to race out to the nearest thrift store even if it means towing two toddlers along with you?

This is that pin for me.

This was done by Holly at Life as a Thrifter. And she's also the woman behind all of these other great projects that most of us have pinned and repinned.

I commented on a few of Holly's posts and she was kind enough to stop over here and check out a few of my projects. She even liked one so much that she is featuring it on her blog TODAY! Stop over and check it out here -- and be sure to check out this post about her not-so-typical wall decor for her nursery. She's amazingly creative!

Twinsie Tuesday: HilaRya

No introduction needed here (assuming you watch Nashville and HGTV.)

There's a good chance Avery's Manager (Rya Kihlstedt) has a day job working as Hilary Farr's double on Love it or List it.

Somethings: Plato's Closet

Love me some Plato's Closet! Not to sound like their commercial, but they honestly have the latest trends at really great prices. Here are a few things i picked up on my most recent trip.
Abercrombie & Fitch floral dress. $16

Antonio Melani Leopard Flats with Black rosettes, $13
Steve Madden Nude Patent Flats, $12.
H&M Pink Sheer Blouse, $8
Zara Green Skinny Jeans, $10

Those Zara green jeans. Amazing. I was a little worried about looking like a Girl Scout, but since I wasn't wearing my sash I think I pulled it off ; )

Speaking of Girl Scouts, anyone remember this:

On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

Holy Memories!

And while we're on the random Girl Scout Train:

Last stop: check out this awesome girl scout themed bridal party photo shoot by Beau & Arrow Events and Swoon by Katie.
